I have been meaning to write this letter for several weeks now and I have finally reached the point where I am embarrassed that I have not formally thanked you for the valuable contribution you have made to our Business.

As you are aware, when we first talked about Parr Marketing providing a few days sales consultancy, I was perhaps guarded in my enthusiasm and felt that the cost was not insignificant. However, it become apparent very quickly that the ground covered in those early days easily justified the costs which, with hindsight were actually quite reasonable.

Since then, we have continued to work with you and we very much appreciate the efforts you have made, particularly in terms of the following:

  • Planning and recruitment of sales agents
  • Putting structured sales pipeline management into place
  • Establishing and running regular sales meetings
  • Valuable introductions to potential customers
  • Improvements to our overall marketing approach and strategy
  • Raising our profile in the county and beyond

Guymark UK have used Parr Marketing for sales and marketing consultancy since September 2003. The key objective and challenge that parr marketing was presented with, was for the management team to become more creative and dynamic without diluting their focus and to deliver this through the proactive management of their respective teams.
Having created the environment for this to be achieved in the first phase of their program,  parr marketing,   the management and team development specialists,   then facilitated the process and the approach which  was drilled down into the management of the business and in particular the people.
The management team took on the challenge of becoming less reactive and more proactive with their team members and transferred the individual coaching delivered for them into formulating personal goals and objectives for their people.
The whole process was encapsulated in a strategy and mission for the business to work “smarter rather than harder” with the management team setting an increased budget and profit target for the year.
The result was that the team smashed their budget and profit targets by producing a record year with in excess of £177k net over the increased profit target.
The coaching program enhanced the level of focus throughout the team on “smart goals and objectives”.
Emphasis on facilitation and coaching enabled the team to drive realistic and more cohesive initiatives.
We have been very impressed with parr marketing’s ability to quickly understand and identify the key issues for both individual and team development and indeed by the results that they produce….it is fair to say that they really do “walk the walk!”
