Commencing today, late collections of letters at pillar boxes and other boxes of a similar kind, will be discontinued throughout the Dudley postal area.

This includes Dudley, Brierley Hill and Tipton districts.

The reason for the decision, the post master points out, is the transport difficulty, consequent upon the lighting restriction.
