Women are still urgently wanted, whole-time or part-time, for the ambulance services "front" in Wolverhampton.
That, however, does not mean that men will not be accepted - for the duties of drivers, at any rate.
Total trained personnel for all the seven sectors should be: Drivers 144, attendants 144, reserves 96. That is of course working on a full time basis of 12 hours each per post.
Full strength, however, has not yet been achieved although good progress is being made, and, pleasing to report, there is an especially good number of part-time volunteers, who have been enrolled for shifts.
