Householders, cafe and snack bar owners and licensees are strictly warned again that after sunset there must be no sign of a light shining through their curtains of barricades.

Even last night ARP officials who scoured the town had to knock at several doors to complain that lights were showing. The second warning may lead to a prosecution.
